Editorial Standards
Falmori is a decision guide for private purchases. We publish clear, calm, well-sourced information to help adults decide — questions like what shows on a bank statement, how to receive a package privately, and how to tell whether an online store is trustworthy.
These standards explain who is responsible for our content and how we research, check, and maintain it.
Who is responsible
Falmori is founded and edited by Philip Wong, who researches, writes, and stands behind the guides published here. Philip is not a medical professional. Questions, feedback, and corrections can be sent to editorial@falmori.com.
What Falmori is — and is not
- Falmori publishes general consumer information for adults. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice.
- Falmori does not sell products, and it does not rank, certify, or recommend specific stores or brands. Where a retailer is mentioned, it is only to illustrate a disclosure practice, never as an endorsement.
- Falmori is for adults only.
How we research
- We start from primary and authoritative sources — for example the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, Planned Parenthood, and official carrier, payment, and platform pages — rather than second-hand claims or marketing copy.
- Every guide lists the sources behind its key facts so you can check them yourself.
- We prefer specific, checkable information over vague reassurance.
- We report what a page, store, or policy leaves out, not only what it says. A missing detail is information too, and we name it rather than filling the gap with a guess.
How we fact-check
- Every factual claim is checked against its source before publication.
- Claims that can change over time — payment behavior, laws, and platform features — are dated and flagged for periodic re-checking, and we note when a guide was last reviewed.
- If we cannot support a claim with a reliable source, we remove it or state clearly that the detail varies.
Expert review
For health-sensitive topics, Falmori seeks review from qualified professionals and credits them by name. A guide that has been professionally reviewed displays a "Reviewed by [name, credential]" note. Guides without that note have not been professionally reviewed and reflect careful consumer research and fact-checking rather than clinical expertise.
Corrections and updates
- If you spot an error, email editorial@falmori.com. We investigate and correct confirmed errors.
- We update guides as information changes and show a "last reviewed" date on each one.
How Falmori is funded
Falmori does not currently sell products or run advertising. If we add affiliate links in the future — where Falmori may earn a commission if you buy through a link — we will disclose it clearly, and it will never change our guidance or turn a guide into a sales pitch.
Our boundaries
- No medical, diagnostic, or treatment claims.
- No fake, incentivized, or undisclosed reviews.
- No pressure to buy — information over hype, always.
